Another Bad Day of Hockey

I decided not to count the days anymore. It's kind of pointless, and I think I just used it because I didn't know what to put on the title.

Well, as you know, I wrote my last exam of the year. I was pretty excited about it, but I was also nervous at the same time. I've been having like this dilemma. I know this year won't matter to me, and I know I'll be going into Phys Ed for sure next year, and I know either way, I'll go on academic probation, but I still thought that I should try my best to end the year. At the same time, I didn't want to put whole lot of effort into studying for them. So I pretty much studied every second day for this final. At one point, I'd be like, this course won't matter to me next year, and all that, but at the other point, I want to do well regardless of what the status is at the moment. So you could just say I was very confused, and could not make up my mind. So back to the today's final, it was hard. I always look through the test from start to end before I start my exam, just to see what I got to deal with, and I thought this one was going to be fairly easy. Oh ya. It definitely was the easiest final I've written, until I hit question 3b).  Then things got really hairy. Well, that's what you get for not preparing for it, right? I did answer few of them after 3b) with not whole lot of problem, but I had to pretty much guess the rest. I did remember doing some of those questions, like similar ones but not exactly the same, and I understood it and had no problem doing it, but when I saw those questions on the exam, I thought I was going to nail it, but then my brain wasn't functioning well and could not recall how to solve those problems. So overall, it went bad. No question about it. I was a little disappointed, I mean, who wouldn't be. right? But on the positive side, my first year is done, and I get to start something new next year which I'm excited about, and I don't have to deal with chemistry and math anymore so I'm really happy about that as well.

Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Penguins' Game 7s were tonight. I was really really excited about it, then a couple things happened. 3 things actually. 1) The exam just kind of ruined my day, not badly, but I wasn't happy so I didn't even feel like watching anything today. 2) I took the 4:40 bus home, hoping to be home by 5:15 at the latest, but the traffic was pretty heavy so I didn't get home till like 5:30 and missed like half of the first period. 3) I get goal notifications on my phone and on the way home, I received 2 notifications. Both were scored by the Bruins. So I didn't really have the 'motivation' to watch the game but I did it anyway. I mean, I'm done for the year and I thought I could maybe watch it with no weight on my back. The Montreal game ended up going to OT due to Subban's goal at about 1:20 left in the game. It was a pretty nice goal. It was an absolute rocket. Then the OT lasted only 5 minutes. Boston scored. It was pretty similar to last night's Chicago game. Pittsburgh's game was pretty sad. It was 1-0 Tampa the whole game and Pens could not get past Roloson. A very disappointing night of hockey it was. Only 2 of my teams made it to the second round so I don't think the rest of the playoffs is going to be as exciting as the first round.

I bought my referee equipment today. This guy was selling the whole set for $100 and I had to buy it. I guess this kind of tells me that I'm taking this referee thing pretty serious. I had to think about it few times to see if I really want to do it, and the answer turned out to be yes. All the equipment was clean. Jersey and pants were pretty big though. The seller was like 6'5" so it's understandable. So I'm very excited to get my license. It's going to be dope.

I also made like a little timetable for next 4 months. Starting May 2nd. I start my new job on May 2nd, and it's from noon-8pm. It's perfect, because I'm not a morning person so ya. But, from now on, I will be a morning person. I have to skate well to become a referee and I don't just want to do nothing during summer and get on the ice, I want to practice while I can. Luckily, I can go skating at the Millennium Place. They are open in the morning, from 9-11, and at night, I'm not really sure when. So that's perfect. I'll go to the rink around 10, or earlier, and skate around for about an hour or so, then go straight to work. After work, I'll probably be home by 8:30. I'll have supper then, then at about 9pm, I'll hit the gym and workout, and jog for couple hours. Then I'll go to bed or something. I think this is a perfectly planned summer. It's not too complicated, and I'll be doing things I love so it shouldn't be a problem. I hope I follow this plan. I never have, and if I want to have a successful life, I know I have to follow my own plan, and starting with simple things like this, I think it's a good start. So we will see how this goes.

day 27

Tuesday, April 26th, 2011, day 27. It's been a quite a long time since the last time I was on here, and posted something. I've been pretty busy, I mean I think I was. I have my second and last final exam of this semester tomorrow, so I've been studying. Although, it feels like I haven't done anything about it. Then there was playoffs on top of it. Nothing comes before hockey. It's pretty much a religion to me. So anyways, out of all 8 match ups, I was cheering for Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins, NY Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators, and LA Kings. So far, half of these teams were eliminated. The Rangers did not last long against the Washington Capitals, Buffalo went all the way to game 7 and they were dominated by the Flyers tonight. Buffalo was without Connolly and Pominville so they didn't have a lot of offense going on. It sucked. LA was eliminated in OT last night. Chicago's series was amazing even though they were eliminated about 25 minutes ago. The Hawks were down 3 games to none, and they came back and tied the series at 3-3 and in tonight's game, they were also down 1-0 with about 1:50 to go in the game, then Toews scored the tying/SH goal and forced to go on to 4th period. Unfortunately, a turnover in Chicago zone cost them the season. It was a remarkable run though. Now, Montreal and Pittsburgh are both going onto game 7 tomorrow, and I hope both of them win. Only 2 of my favourite teams made it to the second round so far, and if they get knocked out, this year's playoff won't be fun at all. So fingers crossed.

Like I said, hockey is like a religion to me. It just became a huge part of my life. Even though when I say I hate this and that team, I don't honestly hate them. I take hockey pretty serious, and I don't judge any teams. I'm not one of those fans who knows nothing about the teams they hate and take the rivalry way too serious and beak everyone about it. I've never done that in my life, and I probably never will. One thing that really bugs me is when people start becoming obsessed with one team because they made the playoffs for the first time in like how many years and they were doing amazing, but they didn't care about them at all before they made the playoffs and etc. Chicago is a real good example. They made the playoffs 3 years ago for the first time in a long time, and everyone started to cheer for them all the sudden, and making them their favourite team just like that. I just HATE that. I literally want to punch them in the face. Habs had a real good playoff run last year, and everyone liked them just because of that, and this year, Tampa Bay is everyone's favourite. I mean, nobody gave a shit about these teams, and all the sudden, it's their favourite. Oh and Washington, nobody liked them until Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom, Green, etc. showed up. Like what the hell. You are not a true fan. I like the Habs, because of their history. I think it's a huge part of hockey history. If the Habs are not the definition of hockey, then I don't know what is. Another thing, everyone hates the Canadiens just because they are french. What's that got to do with anything? It's a hockey team based in Montreal. I bet everyone would love them if they didn't start out their franchise in Montreal but in somewhere else. I just don't understand some people. So there you go. My rant of the day.

Tomorrow is my last exam. Finally some freedom. I have been slacking off quite a lot lately due to the playoffs but there's a difference between the feeling before the finals but slacking off, and the feeling after the finals and enjoying your freedom. Sounds pretty similar but it sure feels different to me. So I'm pretty excited about that. But I'm mostly excited to get my referee equipment. YES!!! I'm one step closer to become a referee. I found this ad on Kijiji and this guy was selling the whole set for $100!!! The ref jersey itself costs like $75 and the helmet costs like $80 or something, and I get all of them for $100. I think it's an amazing deal. So I'm pretty excited to pick them up tomorrow.

I don't think my addiction to buying jersey will stop any time soon. I'm always on eBay and Kijiji looking for cheap but rare jerseys. Speaking of rare jerseys, I found one for real cheap price. #11, Buffalo Sabres, Gilbert Perreault. Perreault was one of the greatest player ever played for the Buffalo Sabres and it will be an amazing piece for my collection. One problem. I bought it on eBay, and the seller did not have any feedbacks, so it was kind of hard for me to trust the seller. The seller was also Chinese so it was even harder. But I bought it anyway. It was $45. I'm starting to think I made a pretty big mistake because it hasn't been shipped yet. The seller sent me an email saying it has been shipped and gave me the tracking number, and the tracking number didn't exist. So I'm a little upset about it. I mean, it's been almost a week since I bought it, at least it should be on its way. I emailed the seller asking what's up with it and hasn't replied yet. So I'm getting really upset. Good thing Paypal does full refund thing or whatever. I hope they help me out.

I don't understand these people. Why do they rip people off? I mean, I would feel so bad if I scammed someone. That's not fair. People work hard to earn some cash, not post a fake ad on eBay and rip them off. You can never trust Chinese people. I'm Korean, I'm allowed to say that. So whoever is reading this right now, I'm going to warn you, never do business with Chinese people. They lie about everything, and they rip you off hardcore. Just don't believe anything they say. I better get my jersey or the money. if not, I'm going to find them and beat the shit out of them. No, I would never do that, but still, I won't be very happy about it.

Day 20

Wednesday, April 20th, 2011, day 20. The weather is getting pretty nice. It kind of snowed last night and it was kind of chilly, but today, it's bright and sunny out and sort of warm. At least it's not snowing, right?

I wasn't too happy yesterday. I mean I wasn't all depressed or anything, it's just that my phone started to act up again. Everything was working fine until like 4 in the afternoon yesterday. There seemed to be a couple dead spots. I couldn't get pass the lock screen. I had to like slide the thing, but the thing wouldn't slide so I couldn't answer any phone calls, and if I wanted to answer a text or want to do something on it, I had to turn the phone off, I had to reset it actually, then do it, which takes like a whole minute plus the time trying to attempt to get the slider to work. It started to really piss me off so I called the guy who fixed my phone and asked him to take a look at my phone again. So I got there and all he did was reset my phone and all the sudden it started to work. I was like, 'Okay that's weird, because I did the same and it didn't work.' Then I left. About 10 minutes later, on the way home, it did it again. Before I left his apartment, yes, he does this 'phone repair business' at his apartment, he told me that if it happens again, he asked me to give him a call again. Um, no thanks. I mean, it only cost me $100 to get it fixed, and it only lasted 2 days, so that kind of tells me that I should've went to someone more professional, and etc. So I did today. I went to this little shit hole just off Fort Rd. But hey, it's better than that guy's apartment, at least she has an office of her own. Mona, the girl who fixed my phone, said that the guy who fixed my phone before used like the shittiest screen on my phone. Apparently, that screen's conductor didn't conduct with the phone so well, and that's why it's been acting like that. Mona uses the original parts. So like the OEM stuff for cars. So now, it's working really good. It hasn't stopped working yet so I'm happy with it. Mona was really cool unlike the other Chinese guy who fixed my phone. Mona actually fixed my phone in front of me, whereas Patrick, the Chinese guy, never did. Oh ya, and Mona was pretty hot. I'd do her haha. Now I know where to go if I break my phone again ;)

I played street hockey for the first time in like a year last night. It was pretty fun. I always play goalie, because I hate playing with tennis ball, I just can't control it, and I like playing goalie. We probably played for like 2 hours. I could've played more, but my helmet was giving me a huge headache and since it was the first time in a long time, my legs were super sore. And it still is. I can barely walk right now. I have trouble going up and down the stairs. Well, it was kind of worth it. I mean, I wanted to play street hockey for the longest time and I did last night. I hope we get to play again.

Ya, so my sister was having a snack, and it was one of those frozen bread thing I don't know what I'd call it. Anyways, you are supposed to microwave it for about 2 minutes to warm it up. She did, but it was still cold so she decided to microwave it 2 more minutes. And guess what happened after. Yup, there was smoke everywhere. It was overheated and started to burn to crisp. I don't think we've ever overheated something in a microwave, or even seen anyone doing that. The last time I've seen someone doing that was back in grade 10. The janitor, or the person who cleans cafeteria at school put some popcorn in the microwave, and she overcooked it and there was smoke everywhere in caf at school. Then one of my friends said, 'the popcorn is ready.' It was kind of funny. So back to my house, the fire alarm went off. I hate the fire alarm. It's so loud and makes you kind of paranoid. Our alarm system company person called and I had to explain what was going on. Thankfully he was cool about it and everything is good now, except my house smells like burnt bread/sugar at the moment. Something bad always has to happen after something good happened. Story of my life.

5 playoff games tonight. Detroit is probably going to sweep Phoenix then Phoenix will move to Winnipeg next year (WOOO!!!!), Pittsburgh is probably going to win tonight and  finish the series off at home next game, and hopefully Buffalo ties the series up today. Chicago won last night pretty big. 7-2 again the Nucks. I think Chicago can make a comeback like Philadelphia did last year. I hope they do, but it's kind of early to say.

I have to start studying for my CHEM 102 final. Once again, I have no motivation to study. I think I studied more when Jen was over. I didn't really have a choice then, because she used my laptop for 24/7, and since she was studying, I had to study too. So I guess it was easier when she was over. I did print out all the stuff I need to go over for this test, I just haven't started. Maybe I'll go to school tomorrow and do it. Ya I think that's a good idea.

Day 18

Monday, April 18th, 2011, day 18. Well, I wrote my test today. It sucked. At least half of them were definition questions, and whatnot, and as I said last night, I didn't really study for the definitions. I'm a little upset about it. I studied pretty hard, but not that hard, for it and it was pretty much just a waste of time. Oh well. Now I gotta study for CHEM 102 final. I think I'm going to take a day off for today and start tomorrow. I have a week to study with nothing in between now and then so that's good. I hate tests. I feel like I know all the stuff I learn at school, but when it comes to test, I can never recall that stuff. I know I understood everything because I actually apply that knowledge in real life. Not that it's useful but I can remember it. It's hard to explain. So ya, I think it's kind of unfair to have your grades based on tests. What if even like the smartest person isn't good at writing tests? I wish there's another method to grade us for what we've learned. It's unfair for me.

Habs and Sabres are playing tonight. Habs are going for 3-0 and Sabres are trying to take the lead in the series. Both have the home ice advantage so it should be an amazing game. It starts in just over half an hour and I can hardly wait.

day 17

Sunday, April 17th, 2011, day 17. It is the eve of my first final of this horrible semester. I know it don't really matter to me since I won't be in science anymore, but it's not always bad to do well on the test and get high grade on it, right? So I've been studying a little. Usually, taking notes and reading doesn't help at all, so I just do practice questions to help me understand the material better, and guess what? It sure did not let me down this time. I did all 11 assignments and it helped me understand it better than my prof. I missed the whole last week of school, but I think I know quite a lot about what we've been doing. Of course, I'm not going to know everything, but I got the jist of it and I just got to think outside the box once a while during the final. I'm not too worried about it. The midterm wasn't so bad, and I'm not saying the final is going to be easy as that, but I have a feeling I'll do well. If it's all definition test, then I'm done. That's going to suck, because first of all, this is a math course. We play around with numbers, not words and phrases, and secondly, I just kind of skimmed through the definitions. The only thing I really remember is the Span of vectors, the most important one. It's a collection of all vectors that can be written as c1v1+c2v2+...cnvn. I know my stuff, what's up haha. Now all I got to do is just look over the assignments again and sleep well. I got to wake up early. It's a 9am test and you know I don't want to miss it.

I feel bad about what I'm about to say, but I was really glad that Jen finally went home after a 3 long days. The more I think about how she's been acting lately, I get pretty upset. I have a hard time getting over with it. Everything she tells me, and say about me just physically makes me mad. I felt like I was used by her a lot this weekend. I said this yesterday too, but it feels like she's been using me the whole time. That's what I'm mad about the most at her. If she has done something, even a little thing, for me at least once, I probably would've been fine, but she has not. I don't even think she appreciate what I've done for her. She says thank you all the time, but she needs to SHOW me that she really meant it, not just say it. Action speaks louder than words. Is that the right expression? I've heard it before, but I've never said it before. Oh well. I honestly don't think she even likes me. I said last night that I've been wanting to ask her out for the longest time. I've been trying to make like a little physical contact with her, not necessarily sexually, but just like hugs and hold hands and all that stuff, but no, it never worked. I tried to give her a hug because she was upset about her ex boyfriend and I wanted to make her feel better but she said no just like that. Nothing hurts more than that. You try your best to help someone because you really care about them, and want them to be what's best for them, but they just turn you down just like that. I'm done. I've tried everything to make her happy, and give her a good impression of myself, and all that, but obviously that's not what she wanted. I ain't going to waste my time no more. I finally understand why her ex boyfriend broke up with her. It's clear to me. Now that I think about it, I know I would too. Good call on not asking her out.

I feel really bad about what I've just said, but sometimes you've got to let it out. Once again, Jen, if you just read this, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

My phone got fixed today. It cost me $100. So I spent around $300 this weekend. Gas, food, jerseys, and phone. And I am still not broke. Not even close. I still have $246 cheque for my tax, got another tax credit cheque from the government, which was $62, got paid for working on thursday, $45, and I'm getting paid on tuesday, $158. I'm sitting at $300 right now for my chequing account and that's more than enough for me to survive a whole month. I'm going to start saving now. I'll deposit that tax return cheque to my savings account along with another $100 from my chequing account. Good plan haha. Oh so back to the phone, I was just going to replace my screen because everything else was working fine, but turned out there was a crack on the LCD screen as well. I really bugged me so I got that fixed too. It took about 40 minutes but oh well, it was worth it. It's working like a brand new iPhone now.

Chicago Blackhawks is definitely not going to take down the Vancouver Canucks this year. They are already down 3-0 and unless they turn into the Philadelphia Flyers from last year, they absolutely have no chance. On the other hand, Detroit and Montreal has a really good chance of sweeping their opponent, and I would love to see that. Playoffs is just great. Fans get into it so much and I think that's what I love about it the most.

I kind of wish now that someone would actually read all these posts. It kind of sucks that nobody ever reads it. I guess that's what I wanted when I started doing this, but people can change their minds, right?

After tomorrow, I just have one more exam to go. This year has gone by really fast. It was shorter than high school, but still, it went by really really fast. I feel like I have to look back, and learn from all the wrong choices I made this year, and hopefully I won't do the same next year, because my life depends on it and I don't want to cost my future for something stupid.

MATH 120 final, here I go.

Day 16

Saturday, April 16th, 2011, Day 16. Well I started the day off pretty great. I talked to my dad on Skype this morning and he decided to let me do whatever I want to do next year, except I still have to satisfy with him with a couple conditions. I hate not having any freedom, but what choice do I got right now? So I have agreed on those conditions and I'm going to make it happened this time. Then the day just went downhill.

Hockey was great. I'm not gonna complain about that. Detroit won 4-3, Montreal won 3-1, and LA won 4-0. Buffalo lost 5-4 but it was a pretty close game. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed all the games, although I missed like half of both Detroit and Buffalo's game because I was cleaning the house.

So ya, I wanted to study a little today, but it didn't happen. My friend Jen has been over at my house for past couple nights now, and she needed to work on her essay so I dropped her off at the library, then I thought, since I'm already out, I went to Joseph's, the guy I buy jerseys off from, house and picked up 2 jerseys. It was a Steve Yzerman and Sidney Crosby jerseys. I love it. Then when I got home, that's when the day started to go downhill and made me pissed off. First, I put my jerseys on top of my mom's van, which was in the garage, to go check out my car, which wasn't in the garage, but then I decided to also put my phone on top of the van instead of putting it in my pocket. So when I came back to get my jerseys after modifiying my car a little, I completely forgot that I put my phone on top of it, so when I grabbed it, the phone just fell and hit hard on the ground. It would've been fine if it landed on the back side, but it decided to land on the fragile side. So now I have to pay $50 to repair my phone screen. Good thing it's an iPhone though, or otherwise it would've cost me a lot more. So I was pretty upset about it, but I can't really blame it on someone else but me so I got over it pretty quick.

I figured I haven't done any cleaning in my house since my mom left, I thought I'd clean the house for a bit, you know, not a hardcore cleaning sesh, but just a mild one so that nobody thinks we are filthy. That went quite well. Some things kind of really pissed me off. There were random shits everywhere in the house. If you are not the one who's cleaning the house, the least thing you could do is put everything back in its places or put the frigging garbage IN the garbage can. My room was the easiest one to clean though. It was dirtier than the rest of the house, but I think it was because I was the one who used it, and it was me who didn't keep my room clean so that didn't make me mad at all. So after a good hour and a half, I had to go pick up Jen from the library.

That also made me pretty upset. We ended up stopping at the Sherwood Park Mall because she wanted to stop at Chapters and get some book. I didn't really mind that. I mean I wanted to watch the game, but I can afford a couple minutes to lose, it wasn't a big deal. So ya, so far, so good. Nothing bad happened. Then she decided that she wanted to stop at Shoppers which was right beside the Chapters, and she said she wanted to get some ear plugs. That did not make sense to me. My house is 2 story house with basement. If she think she's going to get distracted by me watching the game, then she could either go up or down, she didn't have to stay with me on the same floor. So that kind of bugged me a little. Then it turned out, she was looking for something else as well, and then she told me that I was stressing her out because I was following her around. Okay, I have 2 problems with that comment. 1) Where else would I go, and what else would I do there? I don't need to buy anything, she's the one who needs to get something. I don't get that. She's not the only one. Everyone tells me that I annoy them because I follow them around. Then don't fucking ask me to come with you if you are going to complain about it. I don't go with them because I like to, I go with them because I don't want to say no when they ask me. 2) I understand that she's been stressed out because of school. I totally understand it. I don't know what it's like to write how many essays in how many days, and whatnot, and I probably would never want to know what it's like, but I understand that she's going through rough time. I'm not dumb, I can see that. But why did she have to take it out on me? I didn't do nothing wrong. She just made me feel bad about what she's upset about. That's when I kind of lost it. I tried not to show my anger to her, because I know she didn't really mean it, and I didn't want her stress to get worse. But still, I wasn't very happy with that.

I just thought of this, but I don't understand why she's staying at my house. I mean, she did tell me that she was lonely so I thought I'd just support her and at least tried to make her feel better by going to the campus at like 9 at night. I was fine with that because I was watching hockey all day that day, this was last thursday by the way, so I thought this was also going to be a good chance for me to study a bit. And it did go well, I got some studying done, and I don't know if I made any difference to her feelings and whatnot but it went well. When she asked me if she can stay over at my place, I said yes because I thought it might make her less stressed out and I couldn't really say no. And it hasn't really been that great so far. She just made me really frustrated and angry. I feel like I was almost like a maid at my own house. Can you imagine that feeling? It's not that great.

I've been friends with her for a quite a while now and it seems like I've done a lot for her. I'm not saying they were great, but I mean, I've done things for her because she's a friend of mine and I take friendship serious, and I thought doing things for her could maybe win her heart, but I was wrong. I feel like I pretty much wasted my time. I've spent money on her, I've burned my gas on her (you know they ain't cheap these days), I've cover her shifts for her for weeks, and I let her sleep at my house to make me feel better, and I think about it now, it wasn't worth it. I really liked her. I liked her so much I wanted to hang out with her all the time. I even wanted to ask her out, but this weekend just wiped out all that thoughts from my head. I mean, why would I do something for someone to get nothing back? I do nice things to people because I believe that maybe someday, I know they will do the same for me, but no, all I got was just a complain about how much I'm stressing her out even more, and how I was driving like 45 on school zone. She probably didn't want to be like this this weekend, but I don't know, it wasn't fun for me. I just can't believe that she's doing this to me after all I've done, and I'm just shocked, speechless, and a little bit mad. I think it's safe to say that I'm ready to move on. I know I'll make a lot of great friends next year, so why not start a fresh friendship while I'm starting something else fresh, like my academic life?

Jen, if you've read this, I'm sorry. There were some questions that hadn't been answered for me from this weekend and, I don't know, I don't know what else to say. If I hurt your feelings, I am truly sorry. I didn't mean to.

Day 15

Friday, April 15th, 2011, day 15. Nothing interesting really happened today. I honestly don't know what I did today but it went by really fast. All I really remember was watching the playoff games. I was pretty excited for them tonight but it sucked. All my teams lost. Rangers lost like 2-0 to Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh lost 5-1 to Tampa Bay, and Nashville is losing 4-2 right now and there's probably only like 5 minutes left in the game. Chicago Vancouver game was pretty good. It probably was the best game of the day. Chicago was playing really bad on the first couple periods and it really frustrated me, but on the third period, oh my god, they were on fire. They almost came back. It was 4-3 Vancouver in the late third period, then Chicago was just pouring it on. They were in the offensive zone for like the whole 3-4 minutes at the end of the game. There were few close ones, but unfortunately, they couldn't get through Luongo. Good for him though, he's been a real good goaltender all season, and I don't think he's going to have a bad game any time soon. Although, I'm feeling the next two games of this series is going to be more intense than ever. It's going to be in United Center, Chicago, so the Hawks will have the home field advantage this time. I can't wait.

Tomorrow is going to be better. Well, it better be good, because my top two favourite teams are playing. The Habs, and the Sabres. Both won their first game and both goaltenders, Miller and Price, got a shutout. A very good start. Luongo had a shutout on their first game, and they won again tonight, so there's a pretty good chance that they will win tomorrow. It's good because, they don't have the game on the same time. Sabres game is on at 2 I think and the Habs game is on at 5, Detroit game is on at 11, and LA game is going to be on at 10 at night. You know what that mean ;) Hockey all day long!!! WOOO!!!

Surprisingly I got quite a lot of studying done, but I still got a lot more to go. I think I'll just do the assignments. There is no better way to learn something than actually using that material you've learned, in this case, the worksheet/problems. It's math. That's how you get good at it. Well, it's only 11 right now and I've been going to bed at like 2-3 lately so I guess I got some time to do some problems. Might as well, right??
